Is child labour the lesser of two evils?
some have said that a child should be learning, not working. to which i would reply, what makes a child? can i still be a child at 21 years? how about at 81 years? when is my childhood fully relinquished? i do now and forever will rely on external forces for my existence. and when is work not instructive? the master carpenter learns and perfects his skill through practice.
i’m not saying children should be working, but that children and overgrown children alike should always be learning.
